Community Service Projects

Our members each year not only support the mission to support Palmetto Place Children and Youth Services, they also dedicate their time and service to many community service projects that align with GFWC Community Service Program areas, including:

• Signature Program: Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention

• Juniors’ Special Program: Advocates for Children

• Arts and Culture

• Civic Engagement and Outreach

• Education and Libraries

• Environment

• Health and Wellness

Our Community Service Program Committee Chair(s) highlight current events and invite members to participate in various community service events during the club season.  We're proud to have supported many local organizations in their missions to improve the community. 

Historically, as a part of our Health and Wellness Cancer Awareness Program, we have been able to spread some holiday joy by partnering with the Chapin JWC and Aun & McKay to hold our annual Christmas Party at the Pediatric Oncology Unity at Prisma Health Children's Hospital.
